Ashhadu Anna Umar fi Jahannam (I Bear Witness that Umar is in Hell)

أشهد أن عمر في جهنم

I bear witness that Umar is in Hell

لعن الله عمر، لعن الله عمر، لعن الله عمر

May Allah curse Umar, may Allah curse Umar, may Allah curse Umar

عمر كان ببدر وحنين

Umar was at Badr and Hunayn...

هاربا كي لا يلاقي الكافرين

Fleeing so that he would not meet the unbelievers

بينما كان علي لا يلين

While Ali was never yielding to them

كان يبحث عمر عن المفر

Umar was searching for a way to escape

شال خيبر من عرجها

Ali lifted Khaybar from its very hinges

وشردت الفرسان والخيالة

And the knights and cavalry fled

علي چان لوحده عسكر

Ali, by himself, was an army

ماكو بالإسلام مثل أفعاله

There is none in Islam with deeds like his

هذا حيدر، أول قائد

This is Haydar, the first commander

والصحابة شارد يضم شارد

While among the “companions”, one fleeing man clings to another

هذا حيدر، الله اختاره

This is Haydar, Allah chose him

وما يلوگ إلا عليه فقاره

And Dhu al-Fiqar suits none but Ali

لعن الله عمر، لعن الله عمر، لعن الله عمر

May Allah curse Umar, may Allah curse Umar, may Allah curse Umar

خلق الله روافض يلعنون

Allah created us rejectors who curse…

الذين بعلي لا يؤمنون

Those who do not put their faith with Ali

خلف الكذاب قوم كاذبون

The liar left behind a lying people

إن للكافر صفات كعمر

Indeed, the disbeliever has qualities like Umar

لا عقيدة بلا براءة

There is no faith without disassociation

والتستر عالسقيفة اشفاده؟

And what good is concealing what happened at Saqifa?

احنه وادم نعبد الله

We are people who worship Allah

والله طهرنه بعلي وأولاده

And Allah purified us through Ali and his children

والخلافة إلها رجالها

The Caliphate has its men

علي الأول والبقية أذيالها

Ali is the first, and the rest are its tails

والخلافة هي تريده

And the Caliphate itself wants him

علي بس هو النبي شال إيده

Ali alone is the one whose hand the Prophet raised

لعن الله عمر، لعن الله عمر، لعن الله عمر

May Allah curse Umar, may Allah curse Umar, may Allah curse Umar

لعن الله عمر في كل حين

May Allah curse Umar at every moment

واجبا لعن عمر على المؤمنين

The cursing of Umar is obligatory upon the believers

كيف لا، وهو الذي أبكى الحسين؟

How could it not be, when he is the one who made Husayn weep?

كل مبغظ لعلي ما ظفر

Whoever has hatred for Ali will never triumph

لا تناقشني اعله ديني

Do not try convincing me against my religion

اشلون تقنع عقلي هاي السالفة؟

How could my mind be persuaded otherwise about this affair?

لا تگلي طائفية

Do not tell me "this is Sectarianism"

وهجمت اعله الزهرة كل الطايفة

When the whole Sect attacked al-Zahra

اشلون فاطم، وصلوا دارها

How could this happen to Fatima? They reached her house

وانچوت حتى السمه من نارها

And even the sky was scorched by its fire

اشلون فاطم، بچوا عينها

How could this happen to Fatima? They made her eyes weep

وفطرت حتى العرش بونينها

And even the Throne was split by her laments

لعن الله عمر، لعن الله عمر، لعن الله عمر

May Allah curse Umar, may Allah curse Umar, may Allah curse Umar

لعن الله الذي خان الرسول

May Allah curse the one who betrayed the Messenger

جاهل في الدين حارف للأصول

Ignorant in religion, distorting its foundations

بغض الله الذي آذى البتول

May Allah despise the one who harmed al-Batul (the Purest Lady)

كيف لا، وهو تجرأ وكفر

How could He not, when he dared and disbelieved?

الله سوى الوادم إلها

Allah made mankind for Fatima

وسوى حتى الجنة تحت أگدامها

And even placed Paradise beneath her feet

الزهرة من گد ما عزيزة

So precious is al-Zahra

اثلث رواية إلها نحيي أيامها

That we commemorate the three narrations of her tragedy

عدنه واجب نحيي مصابها

It is our duty to commemorate her calamity

ونلعن الحركوا حطب يم بابها

And to curse those who burned the wood on her door

عدنه واجب نلعن بيهم

It is our duty to curse them

ونذكر الأسماء ونعاديهم

To mention the names and disavow them
