With the gentleness of Mahdi’s tenderness
ما يبرد الما ينچوي لمولاه
The one who doesn’t burn for his master can never truly cool
ويلاه، چم آه
Woe to me, how many screams?
بيه ولا بيك الأسر
Let the captivity be mine, not yours
يا كسرة الما ينكسر
O heartbreak of the one who never breaks
يال عالجسر إنت الجسر لله
O you upon the bridge, you are the bridge to Allah
مواساتك عقيدة، يا نور الله وشهيده
Mourning you is our creed, O Light of Allah and His martyr
اليريدك أريده، وما أريد الما يريدك
Whoever desires you, I get close to, and I stay away from those who neglect you
دخيلك يا أبو طلبة، بضريحك ماكو صعبة
I seek your protection, O father of Talba, at your shrine no hardship remains
اليمد چفه عله بابك، ينترس من رحمة إيدك
Whoever extends his palm at your door is filled from the mercy of your hand
مليكي وحدك يا أبو الرضا مليكي
My king. You alone, O father of al-Rida, are my king
ماكو غيرك بالگلب شريكي
There is no one but you who shares my heart

ما تنتهي شما تبتدي
There is no reaching its end, no matter where it starts
غالي وبهائك سرمدي
Precious, and your splendour is everlasting
گلبك ضمي وجفنك ندي لعاشور
Your heart is thirsty and your eyelid moist for Ashura
مشكور، معمور
Praised, ever-flourishing
اسمك على عيوني انطبع
Your name was imprinted upon my eyes
يالحيرت كلمن سمع
O you who bewildered everyone who heard of you
سجانك بحبك وگع، معذور
Even your jailer fell into your love, and who could blame him?
يا حرزي من الطفولة، يا سري الدوم أگوله
O my protection since childhood, O my secret that I always speak about
آنه كلشي "بأمانة موسى بن جعفر" بديته

ذكرك نديمي ومؤنسي
Your remembrance is my companion and my comforter
آنه بغرامك عابسي ومجنون
In my love for you, I am like Abis and crazy (in love)

O wind, O water
يال بيدك يدور الفلك
O you in whose hand the celestial spheres turn
ما ألطفك، ما أجملك
How gentle you are, how beautiful
آنه وشكو بگلبي إلك ممنون

In your protection, and under your aid
اخذ بإديه من الزمن
Take my hands from the clutches of time
يالماكو من گلبك أحن
O you whose heart has none more tender
آنه الذي ماله وطن لولاك
I am the one who would have no homeland were it not for you
أهواك، وأرجاك
I am in awe of you and I beg you
لا مني تاخذ جمرتك
Do not take your ember away from me
خليني دوم بحضرتك
Let me always remain in your service
لو خيط أصير بغترتك وياك
Even if I become a thread in your ghutra (headdress) beside you
عفت كلشي بسبيلك، ردت منك قليلك
I left everything for your sake, and wanted only a little from you
وقليلك مو قليل بعيني، يالبيك اتكالي
And your little is not little in my eyes, O you upon whom I rely
بديك أمري ومصيري، يا مولاي وچبيري
My affair and my destiny are in your hands, O my master and my great one
المهم ترضى عليه، بالبقن لا ما أبالي
What matters is that you are pleased with me, as for the rest, no, I do not care
رضاك، ما ردت كلشي عدا رضاك
Your pleasure. I desire nothing except for pleasure
وأدري ما تنساني من دعاك
And I know you do not forget me in your prayers
